Knowledge Sidekick is a small effort with a clear focus: research, standards, and adoption of knowledge-first practice for agentic AI, LLMs, and personal assistants. This page is who is behind it, and why it exists in two forms.
What this is
Knowledge Sidekick is a practical knowledge layer for organizations building or using agentic AI, LLMs, and personal assistants. The core idea is simple: most failures in these systems are not model failures — they are knowledge failures. The data is stale, the representation is weak, the extraction is incomplete, the updates lag, and the deprecation never happens.
The work exists in two forms. The business-facing side — advisory, training, evaluations, audits — lives at knowledgesidekick.com. The open, not-for-profit side — research, standards, adoption, community, internship, training description, free resources — lives here, at knowledgesidekick.org.
Same ideas. Two doors. One is for buying help; the other is for learning and adopting the ideas directly.
Mission
The open work exists because the ideas behind knowledge-first agentic AI are too important to sit behind a commercial gate. The research, the standards, and the adoption practice are the public side of the same ideas that are also delivered as a business. The goal is not to give everything away — the business side exists for that reason — but to make the ideas usable by anyone, for free, without a license gate.
The site is intentionally small and flat. The core argument does not need a large site to make its case. The pages here are written as short, self-contained position pieces. Each one opens with the direct answer to why the topic matters, then goes into enough substance to be useful on its own.
They are not marketing copy and they are not a textbook. They are meant to be read by a technical leader who is funding or building agentic work and wants a clearer vocabulary for the knowledge layer.
